German language classes
- Quartierzentrum Bäckeranlage,
- Quartierräume Bullingerplatz
- Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz FHNW
Since November 2022, we have been offering free German classes to Ukrainian refugees. We currently have 7 groups of different difficulty levels, ranging from A1 to B1. Our courses are offered both on-site (in Zurich at the Zürich Stadt Soziale Dienste locations and in Basel at Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz FHNW place) and online. Almost all of our teachers are native German speakers.
Keep an eye on our announcements for new groups, or fill out the form, and we will contact you if a group with the requested level is formed.
Eric Schär (A1)
His passions are languages, foreign cultures, and travel (Eric speaks so many languages that we have lost count of them). But he works in a completely different area, he is a lawyer. He teaches an in-person A1 group on Fridays in Zurich.
Alexey Akulov (A1, A2)
Alexey has always been fascinated by languages. In addition to English, he can teach all Swiss national languages (except Romansh). He teaches an online A1 group and an in-person A2 class in Basel.
Viktoriya Chmilenko (A2)
